Light and Color Perception
These hand sketches were developed as part of my “Drawing as Process” study, focusing on observing real environments and translating them into spatial drawings. I used these sketches to understand proportion, depth, and how elements like architecture, landscape, and light interact within a space. Through this process, I explored how perspective and line weight can guide the eye and define spatial relationships. This approach helps me think through design ideas quickly before moving into digital development.
Hand Sketch Exploration
This project explores how color influences spatial experience in interior environments. I began with a perspective drawing and developed it into a full rendering using different color contrast principles. Through this process, I studied how light and color interact to define depth, highlight elements, and guide movement within a space. I applied concepts such as warm–cool contrast, complementary contrast, and value contrast to create balance while maintaining visual interest. This work helped me understand how color can shape atmosphere and support the overall design intention.
